Get Smart: Amy Franko Selected as a Smart 50 Award Honoree

Congratulations to Impact Instruction Founder and CEO, Amy Franko, on her selection as a 2016 Smart 50 Honoree.

The Smart 50 awards, presented by Smart Business magazine, recognize top executives from the smartest companies in the region for their ability to effectively build and lead savvy organizations. Honorees will be recognized at a special celebration on October 25, where they will be honored for their achievements in the areas of innovation, impact, and sustainability.

Leadership, strategy, and relationship building are part of Amy’s DNA. She channels those strengths into Impact Instruction.

After a successful sales and business development career with IBM and Lenovo, Amy took a smart risk and jumped into entrepreneurship– launching Impact Instruction nearly a decade ago. Since that time, Impact has grown into a respected industry player, working with some of the most recognizable names in the U.S. on leadership and learning initiatives. Organizations like Alliance Data, Deloitte, DSW, Huntington, Kroger, Nationwide, NiSource, and Thirty-One, just to name a few.

Amy’s experience shaped her skills as a big-picture thinker and leader. She brings new perspectives to her clients and the business, with a sharp focus on achieving strategic goals. In addition, Amy has become a recognized force in the Columbus Region and across the U.S., known for elevating, inspiring and connecting other women. She’s often called on for leadership speaking engagements, leadership training delivery, and executive meeting facilitation. Her expertise in the leadership space is widely shared on social networks, and in national industry publications such as Chief Learning Officer, T+D Magazine, Training Industry, Training Magazine, Columbus CEO, and Smart Business.

Amy serves on the board of Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, where she is responsible for leading the Council’s efforts in attracting, retaining, and developing executive board talent. She was honored as a 2015 Woman You Should Know™ by WELD.
